How can I find out whether a book is available and whether there is a reprint or a new edition?
The availability of our books depends on the current stock levels. If a title is sold out, we check whether a reprint (same content, newly produced) or a new edition (content revised) is planned.
Reprints are carried out when the content is still valid and demand continues.
New editions are published when professional updates or additions are necessary.
You can find the current edition in our Thieme webshop or in the book’s imprint.
If a title is temporarily unavailable, our customer service will be happy to assist and provide information on whether a reprint or a new edition is planned.
